Production Supervisor
About the role
As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee the manufacturing operations of an assigned department by implementing strategies that drive business results. Your focus will be on collaborating with department leadership and employees to achieve production and quality goals while maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop department leadership and employees through day-to-day coaching and constructive feedback.
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement by inspiring employees to problem-solve within their work cell.
- Establish a culture of accountability by addressing counterproductive employee behaviors.
- Provide opportunities for job rotation, cross-training, and personal development.
- Meet or exceed production schedules with optimal crewing and resource allocation on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Maintain a safe working environment, including conducting accident investigations and rectifying safety hazards.
- Uphold high standards for processes, products, and services aligned with company quality objectives.
- Ensure equipment produces products that meet specifications by working through leads and employees.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including coaching and mentoring.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive work attitude with the ability to hold others accountable for their actions and behaviors.
- 3-5 years of progressive management, supervisor, or lead experience (preferably in a manufacturing environment).
- Ability to work with various manufacturing and office-based technology systems, including ERP and Microsoft programs.

Pay
$62,300 - $83,100 annually
