About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Architectural AutoCAD Specialist to join a Technical Services (TS) program for an agency within the Department of War. This role involves reviewing third-party A/E work, conducting studies, analysis, testing, specialized engineering services, planning and design reviews, commissioning services, and construction oversight on worldwide delivery orders. Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the client’s Master Drawings files using AutoCAD.
  • Conduct site surveys to verify as-built conditions and incorporate them into the Master Drawings AutoCAD files.
  • Utilize software programs such as Archibus and Smart Client to support the client’s compliance and occupant requirements.
  • Analyze space data sets, reports, and documents.
  • Create and maintain space management, AutoCAD, and various software standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Track and organize facility changes to the AutoCAD data holdings.
  • Coordinate with facilities stakeholders, engineering, and construction teams to ensure project data quality supports the Master Drawings files.
  • Perform AutoCAD projects and other responsibilities associated with the position as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Architecture, Design, Engineering, or a Construction-related field (or equivalent) is required, with at least 5 years of relevant experience (9 years without a degree).
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Skills

  • Proficiency in architectural design standards, practices, techniques, and concepts.
  • Knowledge of architectural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
  • Experience with Archibus, Smart Client, and Vault preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other PC software packages typically associated with architectural design.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Security Clearance

An active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.

Pay

Salary range: $88,400.00 - $154,700.00
