About the role

Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa (Portsmouth, NH) is looking for a Guest Experience & Membership Sales Associate to be the face of our spa and play a key role in growing our membership community. This is more than a front-desk position: successful associates connect with guests, recommend wellness services, and help clients make self-care a regular part of their routine.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and create an exceptional first impression
• Schedule appointments and manage the spa calendar
• Answer incoming calls and assist clients with questions
• Introduce guests to membership options and spa services
• Promote gift cards, upgrades, and wellness programs
• Support member retention through outstanding customer service
• Maintain a clean, organized front-desk environment
• Assist with daily spa operations as needed

Requirements

• Retail, hospitality, fitness, membership, or sales experience preferred
• Comfortable discussing memberships and asking for the sale
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Friendly, outgoing, and confident personality
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
