About the role
The Spa Receptionist is key to creating a warm, seamless, and relaxing experience for every guest. As the first point of contact, your professionalism, hospitality, and attention to detail set the tone for the entire wellness journey.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them through their spa experience.
- Manage reservations, schedules, check-ins, and check-outs with accuracy and ease.
- Answer phone calls and emails professionally, providing helpful information.
- Coordinate with therapists and spa staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Recommend spa treatments and retail products based on guest needs.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming reception and retail area.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with inventory and notify management of low stock.
- Uphold confidentiality and ensure a calm, respectful atmosphere.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Passion for hospitality and guest service.
- Warm, professional communication skills.
- Strong organization and multitasking abilities.
- Works well with therapists and management.
- Reliable, polished, and attentive to detail.
- Maintains guest privacy and spa standards.
- Successful completion of a background check is required prior to employment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in spas, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
- Familiarity with booking systems or POS software is a plus.
- Demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred but not required.
