Property Information
The iconic Arizona Biltmore is located in the heart of the prestigious Biltmore neighborhood in Phoenix. The resort was named the “Jewel of the Desert” since its opening on February 23, 1929. This gorgeous 39-acre property reopened in May 2021 after undergoing a $150 million restoration. It has over 700 rooms, over 200,000 square feet in banquet space spread out over the beautiful property, 9 food and beverage outlets (including 2 restaurants, 2 bars, 2 poolside bars, a gelato shop/café, and in-room dining), a luxury spa, and 7 pools including a 65' waterslide. What You Will Have an Opportunity To Do
- Create weekly team member schedules related to all support staff.
- Responsible for Closing Reports in B4T and proper reconciliation.
- Provide monthly reports related to spa KPI’s.
- Communicate all active spa promotions and programs to all staff.
- Ensure website is up-to-date with this information.
- Oversee all Sol Garden Operations, including F&B sales, and attendant-related revenue-generating services.
- Provide support for all new hires, including interviews, training, and disciplinary action as warranted.
- Maintain all team member Time and Attendance Records.
- Aid in payroll generation in the absence of the Assistant Spa Director.
- Represent the Spa on the safety and Security committee. Ensure compliance and understanding on all monthly safety topics. Submit reports accordingly.
- Provide Sales trainings and product knowledge and service knowledge training for all spa receptionists.
- Report facility discrepancies immediately through Hot SOS.
- Maintain and update all retail and operational vendor information within the designated binder.
- Maintain current wholesale price lists.
- Oversee all Health and beauty and operational supply receiving and reconciliation.
- Enter supply PO’s into Craftable and ensure adherence to budgeted expenses.
- Aid in month-end retail inventory.
- Ensure Forbes and/or luxury spa standards are adhered to through direct training and evaluation of all protocols and facility presentations and offerings.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of current Forbes 4- and 5-star standards.
- Work closely with security and champion the Safety Committee on behalf of the spa. Ensure monthly safety training topics are completed by spa team members.
- Responsible for Hotel Effectiveness scheduling relating to spa attendants.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree, preferred.
- At least three (3) years of leadership experience in a hospitality or service industry.
- Spa management experience, preferred.
- Experience in a luxury hotel / resort, preferred.
Qualifications
- CPR / First Aid Certification, preferred.
