Spa Host - Part Time

About the role

Andaz Maui at Wailea is the first resort for the Andaz brand, situated on Maui’s premier southwestern coastline along Mokapu Beach in Wailea. As a Spa Host, you are the key to our Andaz guest journey through health and wellness, ensuring a seamless spa, salon, fitness, and wellness experience. You serve as the first and last point of contact for guests, building relationships by interacting warmly and providing tailored product recommendations. You will handle business transactions, including guest registration, payments, and invoicing, while maintaining deep knowledge of all spa services and resort offerings.

The Spa Host must be well-versed in the resort’s food and beverage options, guest room billing, boutique sales, and activity arrangements to provide comprehensive guest support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first and last point of contact for guests at the spa, ensuring a seamless experience.
• Build and maintain strong guest relationships through warm interactions and personalized recommendations.
• Register new guests, process payments, and issue invoices for spa services.
• Provide detailed information about spa products and services, including newly introduced offerings.
• Answer guest questions accurately and knowledgeably about all resort amenities, including food and beverage, guest room billing, boutique sales, and activities.
• Assist guests in arranging activities not previously booked.
• Maintain proficiency with systems such as Book4Time, OPERA, HotSOS, and RESERVE.
• Work alternating scheduled shifts, including mornings, mid-days, afternoons, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• A genuine desire to satisfy guest needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and multitask effectively.
• Proficiency with Book4Time, OPERA, HotSOS, and RESERVE is preferred.
• Previous experience in the spa, health, or wellness industry is strongly desirable.
• Fun, articulate personality with a great sense of humor and positive attitude.
• Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Pay

90-Day Probationary Rate: $20.67 per hour
Full Hourly Rate: $24.32 per hour
