Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is the flagship casino resort of Hard Rock International, owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. This world-renowned entertainment, gaming, and hospitality destination features a $1.5 billion expansion including 1,271 upscale guestrooms, a 42,000 square-foot Rock Spa® & Salon, a 13.5-acre recreational lagoon, 19 dining outlets, 20 bars and lounges, an expansive gaming floor, premier meeting and convention space, and a 7,000-person Hard Rock Live entertainment venue.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and explain the set-up and workings of the locker rooms, bathroom, and shower.
  • Guide guests to their next scheduled treatment or area.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order of the spa and fitness facility, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out trash, and performing laundry duties such as washing, drying, and folding linens.
  • Restock all linens in locker rooms and appropriate guest areas; remove and collect dirty linens.
  • Clean and sanitize all wet areas, bathrooms, and grooming areas throughout the day.
  • Distribute and place linens dispensary; replenish supplies as needed.
  • Understand the basics of the spa menu and products to communicate knowledgeably with guests and upsell services.
  • Assist staff with lifting and storing facility equipment, furniture, and products.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to responsible gaming and alcohol service by discreetly notifying managers of concerns.
  • Uphold the Company’s Mission and Values: Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion, and Dedication.
  • Report any incident, accident, or observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations to managers or the Ethics Hotline.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma required.
  • Six (6) months of guest service experience required.
  • Computer experience and ability to use basic office equipment.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, or hear.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to work in a hectic, fast-paced, and often crowded and noisy casino environment.
  • May be exposed to environmental factors including secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and constant exposure to the general public.

As part of the employment process, final candidates will be required to obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check, including a criminal background check. The Tribal Council gives preference in employment to Native Americans, with first preference to members of the Seminole Tribe and second preference to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes.
