About the Role
The Spa Attendant ensures guests receive optimal services by executing support responsibilities that maintain the smooth flow of spa operations. This role focuses on maintaining a sanitary facility, performing general cleaning and organizational tasks, monitoring laundry needs, and keeping the spa stocked with fresh linens, robes, and other supplies.
Responsibilities
- Maintain all location laundry needs, including sorting, washing, drying, hanging, folding, and stain removal.
- Safeguard cleaning equipment, supplies, and products; ensure safe and sanitary storage.
- Perform general cleaning tasks: sweeping, scrubbing, mopping floors, vacuuming carpets/rugs/window treatments.
- Dispose of trash from bins and containers; keep trash receptacles clean and fresh.
- Dust and polish furniture and room accessories as needed.
- Clean and sanitize sinks, basins, bathtubs, showers, toilets, windows, glass surfaces, mirrors, and counters.
- Keep all public spaces neat and tidy with consistent walkthroughs of the spa.
- Report repairs and replacements needed when encountered.
- Replenish paper towels, toilet tissue, and hand soap in dispensers daily.
- Wash glasses, teacups, dishes, and utensils daily and return them to storage.
- Remove wilted or non-fresh plants/flowers from the spa.
- Sanitize and disinfect areas as needed.
- Abide by all protocols set forth by Woodhouse Spa and protect the brand.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal instructions.
- Good physical stamina to walk, bend, carry, and stand for long periods.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Pay
$13.00–$14.00 per hour. This is a non-exempt position eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable laws.
Schedule
This role requires availability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and/or weekends, based on business needs.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Physical tasks include reaching, stretching, bending, and walking throughout the shift.
