Spa Attendant at Luxury Spa in Downtown Sarasota

About the role

Woodhouse Spa is searching for spa professionals to join the team at our Sarasota, FL location. We are currently hiring part-time Spa Attendants to support our operations.

Responsibilities

• Execute housekeeping responsibilities including completing laundry, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, and dusting
• Ensure clean, fresh laundry is available all day by folding and stocking towels, linen, supplies, and amenities in locker rooms, lounge areas, and common areas
• Maintain ample linen, robes, dishware, and all spa items ready for guest and team member use
• Perform Guest Relaxation Room, Dressing Room, and Treatment Room sweeps to pick up all dishes, used robes, linen, spa slippers, and miscellaneous items
• Assist Service Provider Teams with turning over and sanitizing treatment rooms in a timely and effective manner
• Restock all snacks and maintain all levels of comfort for guests
• Keep the Break Room, Sink, and Dishwasher in order
• Maneuver through the spa collecting used laundry without distracting guests or team members
• Greet guests with a smile
• Communicate with the Front Desk Team to meet and exceed guest expectations
• Assist in meeting and exceeding both State and Woodhouse Sanitation Standards
• Serve as a steward of the Woodhouse Brand, ensuring all areas comply with Woodhouse Standards

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills
• Appreciation for cleanliness and sanitation
• Ability to move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 40 lbs without assistance
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time or for entire work shift
• Ability to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during assigned shift
• Ability to follow verbal commands
• Ability to work weekends (1 weekend day shift required of all employees)
• Flexibility to accommodate and support schedule needs for Front Desk Team and Woodhouse Customer Service Standards
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude required

Qualifications

• Formal education is not required; however, candidates should have a basic understanding of responsibilities and duties for this role
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are a plus
• Previous customer service and/or housekeeping experience is preferred

Pay

$17.00 per hour
