About the role

As a Screen Print Catcher/Floater, you are responsible for assisting with the production of the screen print process, including quality checks to ensure high-quality finished goods to meet customers’ expectations.

Responsibilities

• Review work order, observe specifications and any special notes, and prepare work area to start printing multi-color work.
• Perform direct physical activity to maintain productivity while meeting the highest quality specifications.
• Quality check decorated garments based on customer specifications.
• Assist the press operator by loading material on press, applying ink to screens, changing squeegees, and pre-counting material before decoration based on the paperwork.
• Operate machinery used to coat, reclaim, image, and develop screens used in the screen-printing process.
• Move material into staging locations throughout the facility using a pallet jack and RF scanner.
• Ensure that your area and equipment is kept clean, wiped down with press wash at least once per week.
• Utilize all personal protective equipment as required for personal safety and the safety of peers.
• Learn tasks quickly, be accuracy-driven, personable, team-oriented, and punctual with excellence in attendance.

Requirements

• Familiarity with screen printing machines and software.
• Ability to spot errors and ensure precise stitching.
• An eye for accuracy to catch irregularities ensuring only the best product is sent out.
• A reliable team member that employees can count on every day to be punctual.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time with repetitive body movements and lifting of no less than 15 lbs.
• Read and comprehend documents, instructions, and correspondence in English to perform job duties efficiently.
• Participate in meetings, discussions, and presentations requiring proficient spoken English skills.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing valuable insights and feedback in English.
• HS Diploma or GED (required).
• Previous warehouse experience is a bonus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand for long periods of time.
• Repetitive movement of the body is required on a regular basis.
• Lifting of no less than 15-35 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Must be able to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 5am to 1pm.
• Full-time team members work 8-hour shifts for 40 hours per week. Shift times may vary, and extra hours may be added to ensure customer commitments are fulfilled.
• Peak Season (July-December) may require mandatory overtime, including some Saturdays and Sundays.

Pay

Base pay: $17.80/hour
