South Carolina Stingrays Merchandise Game Day Staff

Responsibilities

• Aid the Retail Coordinator with merchandise operations, including restocking and maintenance of the team store.
• Create and maintain visually appealing merchandise displays to engage fans.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist with merchandise inquiries.
• Participate in the planning and execution of merchandise promotions and game day activities.
• Collaborate with the Retail Coordinator to ensure effective in-store signage and promotional materials.
• Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, maintaining inventory, and managing retail records.
• Assist with labeling and organizing merchandise.
• Contribute to other tasks and projects related to team opportunities.

Qualifications

• Willing to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Show a positive and upbeat attitude.
• Display excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Be comfortable interacting with fans of all ages and backgrounds.
• Be reliable, punctual, able to follow instructions, and responsive to manager's directions.
• Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Have previous retail or customer service experience (but not required).
• Have experience with Shopify (but not required).
• Have experience with cash handling and credit card processing (preferred).
• Be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to stand for extended periods (over 4 hours) during games and events.
