Game Day Staff

About the Role

The North Carolina Courage, which plays in the National Women’s Soccer League, is seeking part-time, seasonal Game Day Staff. This position will serve to create a successful fan experience by being a customer service agent for the in-game fan experience and serving patrons attending Courage events at First Horizon Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park. The goal is to maintain a fan-friendly, safe, and exciting environment while growing and strengthening the Club's connection with our fan base.

Responsibilities

Game Day Staff is split into a variety of positions:

• Parking Staff: Responsible for the set-up and tear down of parking areas, including cones and signage. Directs cars to correct lots and spaces to maximize efficiency.
• Game Day Ops Crew: Responsible for the set-up and tear down of the stadium, including tables, chairs, tents, staging equipment, barricades, field equipment, and other related elements.
• Ushers and Ticket Scanners: Interact with and provide customer service to fans upon arrival and throughout the game. Ticket scanners manage ingress by scanning tickets, while ushers assist fans at their stationed posts.

All employees must practice safe work habits to ensure efficient and safe event production. Staff will also provide feedback to leadership on areas such as entry/exit efficiency, seat assignments, ticket sales, concessions, and stadium operations to improve game day experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on the event schedule.
• Must be able to work at least 80% of home games for the NC Courage throughout the 2026 season.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, fans, and staff.
• Must follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively.
• Must provide excellent customer service to enhance fans' game day experience.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The role requires regularly lifting or pushing up to 25 pounds and occasionally exerting force of more than 50 pounds. Duties involve standing, stooping, bending, and lifting in varying environmental conditions.
