Responsibilities
- Assist in managing kitchen operations and staff
- Support the Executive Chef in menu development and execution
- Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation
- Oversight food preparation and cooking processes
- Maintain inventory and ensure proper food storage techniques
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to uphold service standards
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in an upscale dining environment
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Creativity in menu planning and dish presentation
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Pay
A competitive salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 annually
