Key Responsibilities
- Affords assistance and supervision to kitchen and utility personnel, emphasizing Evermore Culture.
- Collaborates with Chef de Cuisine to devise menus.
- Cuts meats and seafood for the line and special events.
- Makes all sauces, stocks, chili, and soups.
- Prepares food orders.
- Safeguards product delivery quality and quantity.
- Ensures daily prep, production, and cleaning checklists are completed.
- Maintains high security and safety standards.
- Schedules associates based on business volume.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of kitchens and storage areas.
- Maintains par levels and ensures timely use of food products.
- Prepares food in accordance with Evermore recipes.
- Aids and assists other areas of the kitchen as needed.
- Sets up, maintains, breaks down, and cleans workstations.
- Serves items in accordance with portion and presentation standards.
- Communicates effectively with Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chefs, and Team Members.
- Maintains neat professional appearance and observes personal cleanliness rules.
- Requisitions supplies needed to produce items on menu.
- Adheres to state and local health and safety regulations.
- Covers, dates, and stores products properly.
- Assists with other duties as assigned by the Chef de Cuisine.
- Supervises both Front of the House and Kitchen as schedule dictates.
Education, Skills And Experience
- High School Diploma
- 5+ years’ experience in an upscale kitchen
- 2 years’ management experience
- Culinary degree preferred
- SERV Safe Certified
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating schedule
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity in all situations
- Ability to anticipate, prevent, identify, and solve problems
- Ability to listen to, understand, and clarify concerns and issues raised by Team Members and guests
- Ability to handle opportunities in the workplace
- Ability to maintain neat professional appearance and observe personal cleanliness rules
- Ability to set up, maintain, break down, and clean workstations
- Ability to serve items in accordance with established portion and presentation standards
- Ability to communicate effectively in a spirit of teamwork and partnership

Physical Requirements
- Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and/or reach repeatedly

- Manual dexterity of hand to use all equipment
- Able to perform duties with varying temperature ranges
