Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen to the chefs standard
• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards
• Ensure food quality and presentation meet the highest standards
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create new and innovative menu items
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Train and supervise kitchen staff
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
• Help assist Chef de cuisine with daily product orders

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
• Excellent culinary skills with a passion for pizza
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of menu planning, food service, and restaurant management
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Some Spanish language skills are preferred
• 1-3 years in a supervisory role
