About the role

The Green Dragon is a beautiful thatched pub in Brook, Lyndhurst, Hampshire, known for its fresh food, Wadworth beers, and friendly atmosphere. It's located near the New Forest and offers a large garden and events space. The position involves working as part of the kitchen management team.

Responsibilities

• Support and work alongside the Head Chef to maximize sales and profit
• Deliver dishes to the required specifications
• Control all costs and ensure compliance with regulations
• Work as part of the kitchen management team

Requirements

• A great team player, working with both front of house and back of house staff
• Reliable and passionate, punctual, well-presented, honest, and enthusiastic

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
• Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and service
• Ability to manage kitchen operations effectively
