About the role
The role of Sous Chef at Reefs Restaurant involves overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and presentation, and working closely with the Executive Chef to develop new menu items.
Responsibilities
- Oversee kitchen staff and ensure efficient workflow
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items
- Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to maintain high-quality food standards
- Manage inventory and budgeting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent
- Proven ability to manage kitchen staff and budgets
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and safety regulations
