About the role

The Sous Chef will help oversee all culinary food operations for the medical campus. The role involves supervising teams in kitchen environments and playing a pivotal role in shaping and standardizing culinary operations.

Requirements

• A solid culinary background with experience thriving in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
• Proven leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing culinary teams to reach their full potential.
• Expertise in menu planning, paired with an up-to-date knowledge of current culinary trends and techniques.
• Exceptional organizational abilities, detail-oriented mindset, and proficiency with computer systems to support efficient kitchen operations.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to build lasting client relationships.

Qualifications

An associate's degree in culinary arts or a related field is preferred, but not required. Equivalent experience is acceptable.

Skills

Strong culinary skills, leadership abilities, and attention to detail are essential. Proficiency with computer systems and excellent communication skills are also required.

Pay

Pay Range: $20.39 per hour - $26.39 per hour

Schedule

Hours are flexible and depend on the needs of the hospital.
