Sous Chef

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals to residents in a safe and hygienic manner.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
• Contribute to the creative and innovative aspects of our culinary offerings.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families.
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Requirements

• Experience within a catering environment with knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene Regulations.
• NVQ Level 2 in catering, hospitality or equivalent.
• A flexible and reliable attitude.
• A commitment to providing an excellent customer service experience.
• The ability to work alone and as part of a team.
• An adaptable, friendly, polite, and caring demeanor.
• An understanding of Health and Safety COSHH regulations.
• Experience in a care home environment.

Qualifications

• Valid food handler certification.
• First aid qualification.

Skills

• Strong organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Good communication skills.
