About the role
The role of Sous Chef is pivotal in the kitchen, supporting the Executive Chef in overseeing daily operations and ensuring high-quality food preparation.
Responsibilities
- Assist in menu development and execution
- Oversee food preparation and quality control
- Manage inventory and maintain kitchen cleanliness
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on special events and menus
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or related field
- Minimum 3 years of professional chef experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Qualifications
- Proficiency in multiple cuisines
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
