Responsibilities
- Recruit and develop a talented kitchen team
- Lead the kitchen team in providing guests with a top-notch dining experience
- Develop and execute innovative culinary concepts
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to ensure consistency in menu offerings
- Manage inventory and food costs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Experience as an executive chef or extensive experience as a sous chef
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a professional kitchen setting
- Valid Food Handlers Card
