Responsibilities
- Assist in directing and overseeing all back-of-the-house activity including food procurement, production and food presentation.
- Support the Executive Chef in meeting or exceeding food services standards, budgetary requirements and managing kitchen operations.
- Utilizing strong interpersonal skills, assist the Executive Chef in training and inspiring the culinary staff to consistently produce a high-quality product matched with exceptional presentation.
Requirements
- Education – High School diploma or equivalent certificate preferred
- Three (3) years of experience in a Cook or equivalent role
- Somewhat management experience preferred
- Demonstrated interest in the elderly and knowledgeable about servicing their needs in a culinary setting
- Have demonstrated back-of-the-house production experience
- Current ServSafe certificate or equivalent
