Sous Chef (10:30am -7:30pm)

About the role

The Sous Chefs at La Posada play an important role in creating exceptional dining experiences for residents within our vibrant retirement community. Working alongside a talented culinary team, you'll prepare high-quality meals with thoughtfully crafted menus across multiple dining venues, helping make every meal memorable.

Responsibilities

• Assists with creation and preparation of high-quality meals utilizing fresh quality ingredients and scratch made recipes consistent with local custom and tastes
• Affords assistance in maintaining inventory control of quantity and condition of all kitchen small wares, equipment and supplies
• Maintains organization of the kitchen and schedule
• Maintains kitchen and food preparation in a clean and sanitary manner
• Trains and develops new kitchen associates

Requirements

• Be a high school graduate (preferred)
• Have 3 years of professional culinary experience
• 1 year supervisory experience (preferred)
