About the role
The IT Procurement Agent is responsible for coordinating and managing the procurement of IT-related goods and services. This position involves developing procurement strategies, executing the sourcing process, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that all IT purchases align with the company's needs and budget. The role requires working closely with various departments to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of IT resources.
Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing initiatives and manage end-to-end IT procurement processes, including requisitioning, sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Analyze bid responses and conduct supplier evaluations.
- Conduct complex negotiations and manage supplier performance reviews.
- Draft, review, and manage IT contracts and agreements, including handling renewals and terminations.
- Collaborate with IT, legal, finance, and other departments to understand and meet procurement needs.
- Oversee the acquisition, distribution, and tracking of project materials, ensuring availability aligns with schedules.
- Provide strategic material forecasting to optimize costs and prevent shortages.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, legal standards, and industry regulations.
Requirements
- 6-10 years of experience in a sourcing or procurement role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
- Must be able to commute to the Juno Beach office daily.
Preferred Qualifications
- An undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA, Procurement Certifications (CPSM, CIPS), or legal contracting experience.
- Previous software sales experience and strong contract negotiation skills.

Schedule
