Sourcing Specialist (Hybrid)

Location: Framingham, Massachusetts • Contract role • $35–40 per hour

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sourcing manager with the negotiation strategy to achieve the best possible margin while ensuring quality is not compromised.
• Communicate daily, and in a timely manner, with overseas offices/agents/vendors as well as internal merchant teams and Product Development partners.
• Perform heavy work in Microsoft Excel, including creating and managing pivots, mastering formulas, and applying advanced math skills.
• Collaborate and consult with the Sourcing manager, Product Development, and Design team for functional guidance.
• Assist the Sourcing manager with keeping the team on the time and action calendar—working with overseas offices/agents and the Product Development team.
• Assist the Sourcing manager in recommending and ensuring that new vendors meet corporate compliance requirements.
• Track weekly production to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Perform special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• High proficiency in Excel is mandatory.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and math skills.
• Experience within Production, Retail, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing.
• Highly detail-oriented.
• Able to handle complexity, be nimble, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay

$35–40 per hour
