Sourcing Specialist (Full Time) (36570)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify cost savings and process efficiency opportunities for the company.
• Prepare and issue request for proposals (RFP).
• Identify suppliers capable of successfully providing high quality goods/services outlined in the RFP scope.
• Manage the bid process.
• Analyze and summarize bid proposals.
• Cook up meetings with internal stakeholders to review proposals, evaluate product samples, and determine supplier selection.
• Have regular ongoing communication with the supply base to stay current of trends and opportunities that could be beneficial to the company.
• Able to identify non-value-added activities and make recommendations for replacing them with more efficient practices.
• Provide timely and accurate communication to internal customers and company management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, hotel administration, business or accounting/finance preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of strategic sourcing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office with emphasis in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to communicate in English in both oral and written form.
• Experience with RedRock Software a plus.
