Sourcing Specialist - Biomed

About the role

As a Sourcing Specialist (Biomed, Entry Level) in a hybrid setting, you will support the procurement of mission-critical healthcare equipment by searching for medical parts, conducting supplier negotiations, performing online data research, and relaying information to internal teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Search for medical parts using a defined set of requirements
• Conduct low-level supplier negotiations
• Perform online data research using Google and other websites to gather and communicate information to the customer care team
• Resolve low-level issues, perform data entry, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Translate Customer Care Representative needs to suppliers
• Relay information to the Catalog team to improve catalog content
• Gather supplier information, updates, and other changes
• Interact frequently with PartsSource personnel and outside suppliers
• Meet and maintain departmental KPIs
• Follow departmental processes and requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs

Requirements

• Knowledge of Biomed/Imaging parts and systems
• Minimum 2 years’ customer service experience preferred
• High School diploma or GED required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills (oral and written)
• Strong planning and organizing skills
• Ability to use independent judgment and time management skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to provide prompt issue resolution
