Sourcing Specialist
About the role
The Sourcing Manager Hybrid Schedule in St Petersburg, FL is responsible for leading procurement efforts, managing strategic business relationships, and ensuring business requirements are met while minimizing total cost of ownership.
Responsibilities
- Lead procurement of specialized category or service areas (Subscription-Based and Professional Services Agreements are preferred).
- Identify, develop, and manage strategic business relationships and gain a comprehensive understanding of business requirements.
- Manage governance and control programs with respect to select categories to ensure business supply continuity, protect company assets, and comply with corporate and regulatory policies.
- Lead cross-functional teams through sourcing initiatives ranging from $100K-$1M in spend.
- Negotiate contractual business requirements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Identify, evaluate, and implement AI and automation solutions that streamline procurement processes, improve efficiency, and support business objectives.
- Develop and present recommendations/memorandums of approval of suppliers and/or purchases to executive management.
Requirements
- 8+ years experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and vendor management.
- Full sourcing lifecycle from pre-RFP through post purchase/implementation supplier performance reviews.
- Contract negotiation and vendor management experience.
- Experience working with stakeholders to provide recommendations.
- Leveraged AI and automation tools to enhance procurement efficiency, reduce cycle times, and drive business value.
- Knowledge of financial markets, their required products and services, and corresponding regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay and Benefits
