About the role
We are sourcing and procurement professionals who help clients optimize their procurement processes and reduce costs. You will be responsible for managing projects, developing strategies, and leading teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop project plans and lead client engagements
- Manage project support resources and coordinate with subject matter experts
- Develop creative cost reduction strategies and recommendations
- Present to client executives and build consensus among stakeholders
- Reengineer procurement processes and assess client expenditures
- Lead the Chemicals Center of Excellence and enhance Accenture’s expertise in the chemicals industry
- Coach and develop junior staff members
- Create and curate deliverable content and build internal category knowledge
Requirements
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience executing strategic sourcing and procurement projects/programs, including 4+ years in chemicals sourcing or chemicals negotiations
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience)
- Experience sourcing a broad range of types of chemicals such as Chlor-Alkali, Petrochemicals, Specialty Chemicals
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage resources performing complex analytics
- Ability to plan and manage multiple projects, tasks, and initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in sourcing and procurement
- 4+ years of experience in chemicals sourcing or chemicals negotiations
- Proven experience in cost optimization or procurement process optimization projects
- Strong communication and leadership skills

Pay
Annual salary range: $132,500 to $338,300
Schedule
