Sourcing Manager

About the Role

The Sourcing Manager manages production timeliness, product costing, and quality oversight while maintaining collaborative vendor relationships across Pact's supplier base. You'll be accountable for margin improvement and on-time delivery, working closely with our production and quality managers overseas. You'll partner with Design, Merchandising, and Development to understand product build and drive costing decisions grounded in that build. You will provide guidance during each proto round including participation in fittings to manage cost throughout development. You will ensure Pact’s high quality standards are maintained by instilling a quality first mindset in vendor partners and reviewing QA reports and initiating corrective action plans when necessary. This role has high autonomy and the expectation that you run your own workload with little day-to-day direction.

Location / Reporting

Location: Boulder, CO (On-site)
Reports to: Head of Sourcing, Production, Costing & Quality
Direct Reports: None currently
Travel: International travel annually, as needed

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end costing process from pre-season costing through final garment
• Pre-cost at the style level based on design sketches/handovers to confirm viability before tech packs are sent
• Collect and analyze standardized cost sheets for every style, first proto through bulk approval, using PLM (Centric or similar) as the system of record
• Lead cost negotiations with vendor base; quantify and document results each round
• Maintain a component-level historical cost database to benchmark costs and inform negotiations
• Prepare margin recaps for all major product milestones and report on cost/margin movement
