Sourcing Logistics Specialist

Our supply chain and sourcing teams play a critical role in enabling operational excellence, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and optimizing logistics across a complex global footprint.
Responsibilities
- Developing and leading end-to-end logistics solutions to achieve on-time pickup and delivery of goods while meeting budget and operational plan requirements.
- Leading RFQs/RFPs, negotiating contracts, rates, and Master Service Agreements with logistics providers.
- Managing scope of work and relationships for ocean freight forwarders and other logistics service providers.
- Identifying, evaluating, and onboarding suppliers for logistics services including transportation, warehousing, and freight forwarding.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with logistics providers while monitoring supplier performance through key KPIs such as cost, on-time delivery, and service quality.
- Analyzing logistics costs and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process optimization.
- Optimizing freight modes, routes, and carrier selection to improve efficiency and service levels.
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes through accurate cost analysis and planning inputs.
- Ensuring compliance with import/export regulations, company policies, and global trade requirements.
- Collaborating with procurement, production, and planning teams to align logistics strategies with business needs.
- Supporting supply chain strategy development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Managing freight payment systems, including onboarding, quarterly audits, cost tracking, and issue resolution.
- Tracking and analyzing logistics KPIs such as cost per shipment, transit times, and service levels to drive performance improvements.
- Preparing reports and dashboards to provide visibility and insights for leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in logistics).
- Have a minimum of 3 additional years of experience in logistics, sourcing, or supply chain operations.
- Have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Have experience in sourcing processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across functions.
- Have proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
- Have knowledge of global logistics operations, freight forwarding, and transportation management.
- Have proficiency in digital tools and systems for data analysis and reporting.

Pay
The pay range for this role is $70,000 - $100,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.
Schedule
The schedule for this role is full-time.
