About the role
Qorvo’s Internship Program is designed for college students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program. The program offers real work experience, exposure to upper management, and the opportunity to pursue full-time opportunities, as available.
Responsibilities
- Assist Global Sourcing Commodity Leaders in achieving sourcing objectives for assigned commodities while developing functional sourcing expertise.
- Support the Global Sourcing management team with the preparation and maintenance of weekly reporting metrics and performance dashboards.
- Assist in integrating global best practices and standardized operating processes.
- Collaborate with global operations teams to identify and implement process improvement opportunities utilizing Lean principles and continuous improvement tools.
- Create, update, and maintain sourcing and procurement work instructions, procedures, and process documentation.
- Conduct spend analysis, supplier research, and data collection to support sourcing initiatives.
- Support cross-functional teams in executing cost reduction, productivity, and supplier performance improvement initiatives.
- Maintain sourcing databases and ensure data accuracy across procurement systems.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a BS in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Computer Science, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Project management coursework or experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data analytics tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Power Query.
- Experience with SAP preferred.
- Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively on a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Pay
Competitive hourly pay: $23/hr – $31/hr (subject to change dependent on physical location). Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
