A Day In The Life

As a Direct Sourcing Intern, You’ll Be Part Of a Dynamic Team That Drives Strategic Sourcing Initiatives And Supports The Backbone Of Our Business.

Reporting To The Sr. Manager/Director, You’ll Gain Hands-on Experience In Sourcing, Project Management, And Supplier Collaboration.

• Strategic Sourcing Support: Assist with financial reporting, spend analysis, data management, and supplier evaluation.
• Project Management: Experience the new launch process, support value analysis, and contribute to business contingency projects.
• Category Strategy Development: Support the execution of L’Oréal’s sourcing process, including category deep-dives and strategy development.
• End-to-End Project Ownership: Manage a strategic project from needs analysis through recommendation and implementation, coordinating with buyers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
• Documentation & Reporting: Create RFI/RFPs, bid analysis documents, negotiation reports, and maintain internal databases.

We Are Looking For You

• A Current Student: Junior/Senior undergraduate or first-year master’s student with a minimum 3.2 GPA, pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with strong analytical and communication skills.
• A Team Player: Able to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple assignments and meeting deadlines.
• (Preferred): Prior internship experience in a relevant area.
