Sourcing Contract Associate - Corporate (Las Vegas)
Responsibilities
- Follow processes and procedures to facilitate meeting needs of global corporations by analyzing business requirements, while addressing multiple regulatory and diversity requirements in varying jurisdictions.
- Work with Caesars stakeholders to clearly document business requirements for in-scope products and services.
- Leverage eSourcing tools to execute go-to-market strategies, including but not limited to, RFx & e-Auctions.
- Aid in managing the contracting process, including but not limited to, contract drafting, redlining, approvals, and execution.
- Cook up program implementation, including the setup of contract compliance tools.
- Manage vendor setup including COI verification, vendor profile completeness and e-Enablement.
- Issue identification and resolution.
- Provide creative cost-efficient solutions to meet company needs without compromising quality, customer service and delivery requirements.
- Show strong work ethics and reputation for high ethical standards.
- Communicate and interface with Executive teams, internal customer business units, and vendors; strengthen relationships by forming cohesive teams and partnerships to achieve common goals.
- Be energetic, detail-oriented self-starter with multi-tasking abilities. Driven by challenges to provide innovative solutions; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Business or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 1-3 (3) years’ experience in Procurement/Sourcing/Supply Chain/Legal.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and other colleagues and demonstrate initiative, mature judgment, great customer service orientation, and the ability to anticipate the needs of the organization.
- Basic to intermediate negotiation skills.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating contract terms for local and national agreements a plus.
- Detailed understanding of standard legal provisions, pricing strategies, minimum order requirements and service level agreements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of programs.
- Oracle experience a plus.
- Ability to take direction, work independently, and perform detailed work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; handle multiple projects simultaneously; and ensure tasks are completed and deadlines are met as required.
- Excellent organization, prioritization, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Results oriented and data-driven approach.
About the Role
The Sourcing Coordinator will work with Strategic Sourcing and Regional Locations in supporting Sourcing Strategy and operational needs. They will assist in the development and execution of sourcing projects of various complexity levels.
