🔔 Sound Bowl Therapy Volunteer — Hospice Care

What You’ll Do

• Provide gentle sound bowl sessions at the bedside for hospice patients in homes, care centers, or inpatient settings
• Use calming, harmonic tones to support relaxation, emotional ease, and spiritual comfort
• Adjust tone, rhythm, and length of sessions to honor each patient’s physical, emotional, and spiritual state
• Offer a quiet, compassionate presence during visits for both patients and family members
• Clock visits with the hospice care team and follow patient care plans and safety guidelines

What You’ll Need

• Experience with sound bowls, sound therapy, or mindfulness-based healing practices
• A compassionate, sensitive, and calming presence
• Comfort working with individuals facing serious illness and those at the end of life
• The ability to adapt your approach to meet patient preferences and needs
