Responsibilities
- Operate multiple machines to sort product according to customer requirements.
- Start machines and perform daily checks to detect malfunctions; report issues to supervisor.
- Conduct daily preventive maintenance and simple setups to ensure machine operation.
- Perform red rabbits (Camera Verification) after each machine changeover.
- Label finished goods and prepare products for shipment, ensuring no mixtures or defects.
- Weigh and inspect finished goods.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times.
- Comply with all company Procedures, Policies, Work Instructions, and internal/external requirements.
- Assist in business improvements using ITW operating principles.
Requirements
- High school education or GED; manufacturing experience or training is a plus.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and correspondence.
- Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
- Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, rates, ratios, percentages, and interpreting bar graphs.
- Forklift Certification required.
Physical Demands
The role requires standing regularly, frequent walking, and manipulation of hands, wrists, and fingers to grasp tools and parts. Occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be necessary. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Pay
$22.40 per hour plus a 10% shift premium.
