Schedule

Tuesday–Friday, 8 pm–6 am. Occasional weekend or holiday shifts and potential for call coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality diagnostic ultrasound images by performing both routine and complex studies to help physicians make accurate, timely patient diagnoses.
  • Capture and document clear clinical data within PACS, ensuring meticulous records that safeguard patient history and streamline the continuity of care.
  • Manage and optimize imaging equipment through regular quality control and safety checks to guarantee peak performance and patient safety during every procedure.
  • Advocate for patient well-being by recognizing significant anatomical structures, pathologies, or technical limitations, and adapting your approach to ensure comfort and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Licensure / Certification / Registration:
    • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
    • One or more of the following required within 24 Months (2 years) of hire date or job transfer date:
      • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
      • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
      • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • Education: High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical certificate/degree required.

Qualifications

  • From an accredited program preferably with Abdomen, OB, and RVT credentials or experience.
  • Able to work independently.
