About the role
Deliver high-quality diagnostic ultrasound images by performing routine and complex studies to provide physicians with the clear, accurate insights needed for definitive patient diagnoses.
Optimize imaging equipment and technology through precise calibration, proactive quality control, and troubleshooting, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and exam accuracy.
Capture and document comprehensive patient data by accurately routing high-quality images and clinical histories to PACS, ensuring a seamless and error-free continuity of care.
Maintain a pristine, compliant clinical environment by adhering to regulatory standards and keeping procedure rooms organized, creating a safe and welcoming space for both patients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality diagnostic ultrasound images by performing routine and complex studies to provide physicians with the clear, accurate insights needed for definitive patient diagnoses.
- Optimize imaging equipment and technology through precise calibration, proactive quality control, and troubleshooting, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and exam accuracy.
- Capture and document comprehensive patient data by accurately routing high-quality images and clinical histories to PACS, ensuring a seamless and error-free continuity of care.
- Maintain a pristine, compliant clinical environment by adhering to regulatory standards and keeping procedure rooms organized, creating a safe and welcoming space for both patients and staff.
Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following required:
- Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 18 Months (1 1/2 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 18 Months (1 1/2 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 18 Months (1 1/2 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
Qualifications
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
