Sonographer - Weekend Evening

About the role

This position involves providing ultrasound imaging services in accordance with physician orders, ensuring high-quality diagnostic testing while maintaining safety standards and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ultrasound rooms and equipment for procedures
• Perform imaging procedures across all age groups
• Evaluate image quality and ensure diagnostic accuracy
• Assist radiologists during ultrasound-guided procedures
• Enter accurate patient and procedure data into departmental systems
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients, staff, and physicians
• Promote patient-focused care and maintain confidentiality
• Adhere to safety protocols including radiation safety, infection control, and equipment checks

Requirements

• High school graduate
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer credential from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
