About the role
Assist with ultrasounds for obstetrical and gynecological patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations
- Interpret patient histories
- Ensure patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with clinicians
- Document findings accurately
- Support clinical staff as needed
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
- Preferred but not required: 1 year ultrasound and OB-GYN experience
- ARDMS OBGYN certification within 6 months of hire
- CPR certification
- NT certification preferred
- Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, ultrasound practices, and medical terminology
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Ability to handle confidential information and exercise sound judgment
