Role Overview
Seeking a Sonographer for a prn position at an outpatient center. The role involves performing ultrasound imaging, including abdominal, obstetric, small parts, and vascular studies, on adult and pediatric patients for diagnostic and treatment purposes. The sonographer ensures equipment readiness, conducts examinations independently, and may handle on-call, portable, and off-site studies.
Responsibilities
- Ensure proper functioning of imaging equipment
- Perform ultrasound procedures with accurate documentation
- Conduct studies independently and respond to various exam settings as needed
Qualifications
- Associate degree or trade school certification
- Certification as RDMS or equivalent
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience, RDCS or equivalent, CPR, and vascular certification
