Sonographer - PRN
Is responsible for the production of high-quality sonograms in an efficient manner while ensuring the safety, mental, and physical comfort of patients. Analyzes sonograms, synthesizes sonographic information and medical history, and communicates findings to the appropriate physician. Possesses full knowledge of diagnostic ultrasound equipment, software, and computer systems used to maintain patient information and diagnostic images (PACS).
Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality sonograms efficiently.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and well-being during procedures.
- Analyze sonograms and synthesize findings with medical history.
- Communicate diagnostic findings to physicians.
- Maintain and operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment and PACS software.
Requirements
- Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program (required).
- Associate's degree (preferred).
- Current knowledge of hospital or outpatient Ultrasound Department operations.
- Solid foundation in diagnostic medical ultrasound systems and exams.
Qualifications
- RDMS-Sonographer certification (preferred).
- American Heart Association CPR Healthcare Provider Certification.
- RVT-Registered Vascular Tech certification (preferred).
- Less than one year of experience.

Pay
$49.00 to $49.00 per hour.
