Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic ultrasound scans of patients for physician diagnosis, utilizing diagnostic ultrasound equipment and appropriate technical knowledge and skills.
Requirements
Education Requirements: Graduation from a Committee on Allied Health Education (CAHEA) accredited program in sonography and registry eligible by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
- Registered by the ARDMS within 1 year of hire.
- East Market: Must be certified in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular within 24 months of hire date. (Staff assigned to the Ashland location are not required to obtain Vascular certification.)
- West Market and Brainerd Lakes Locations: Must be certified in one of the following areas within 12 months –
