About the role
Seeking a Sonographer for a PRN position within the Breast Center, focused on advancing patient and community health.
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound imaging including breast, abdominal, small parts, and obstetric studies.
- Assist with needle procedures such as biopsies and drainages.
- Perform vascular imaging as needed.
- Ensure equipment readiness.
- Independently conduct ultrasound exams.
- Accurately document procedures.
- Perform portable and on-call studies at various sites.
- Maintain proper equipment function and adhere to safety standards.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent trade school training.
- Certification as RDMS or similar.
- Preferred: up to 2 years of experience, including vascular imaging and advanced certifications such as RDCS or CPR.
- No prior experience required for entry; supervision experience is not mandatory.
