Sonographer - OB/GYN

Role Overview We are seeking a qualified Sonographer - Ultrasound to perform advanced diagnostic ultrasound procedures, collaborate with radiologists, and serve as a clinical mentor for junior staff and students. Key Responsibilities Conduct diagnostic ultrasound exams independently following protocols.Assist radiologists with guided procedures across various settings.Review and ensure quality of imaging prior to transmission.Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards, perform quality control.Manage departmental operations including inventory and equipment maintenance.Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and respecting privacy. Qualifications & Skills: Completion of a CAHEA-approved training program in diagnostic sonography.Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or registry eligible within 1 year.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Minimum of 2 years sonographer experience.Proficiency in computer applications, effective communication skills.Knowledge of abdominal anatomy and pathology.Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays. Physical & Environmental Demands: This role involves medium physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to blood, body fluids, and potentially hazardous environments.
