OB/GYN Sonographer

Location: Flowood, MS • Full-time / Part-time

About the role

We are seeking experienced OB/GYN Sonographers to join a growing healthcare team. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled sonographer with strong OB experience who is passionate about providing high-quality patient care in a collaborative clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform OB/GYN ultrasound examinations, including fetal monitoring and heart tone assessments.
• Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures and explain exams clearly to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Obtain appropriate consent and maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Conduct diagnostic ultrasound procedures and accurately document anatomical, physiological, and clinical findings.
• Assist physicians during ultrasound-guided procedures when needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records, charts, and sonographic documentation.
• Ensure proper coding and completion of required documentation.
• Follow established safety, quality, and clinical standards.

Requirements

• Current and valid certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Minimum of 2 years of OB/GYN ultrasound experience.
• Strong knowledge of fetal monitoring and OB ultrasound procedures.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a clinical team.
• Leadership qualities and a commitment to supporting department growth are a plus.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
