OB/GYN Sonographer

Our rapidly growing network spans OB/GYN physicians, breast health centers, high-risk pregnancy centers, two laboratories, urogynecology care, and fertility centers across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Kentucky. We are currently recruiting an experienced Sonographer to join our AIUM accredited care center as a PRN staff in East Brunswick, Piscataway, and Edison locations.
Responsibilities
- Performs routine, diagnostic, gynecological, and obstetric ultrasound examinations.
- Interacts with medical staff to ensure safe, high-quality care; positions patients; and explains procedures for optimal results.
- Adheres to established protocols, infection control standards, and proper probe handling.
- Handles equipment maintenance and supply inventory.
- Maintains records and reports while providing flexible, responsive customer service.
- Performs other assigned tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience performing Obstetrical and GYN scanning.
- Degree/certificate from an accredited ultrasound program.
- Current RDMS, NT and CPR certifications.
- Perinatal experience.
- Knowledge of CPT coding and eClinicalWorks (EMR) are beneficial.
Pay
$37 USD to $45 USD per hour (estimated range; final offers based on skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related factors).
Schedule
PRN varied days per week, 8:00 am–5:00 pm (hours may be earlier or later depending on schedule).
