About the Role

The Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Sonographer is a highly skilled diagnostic imaging professional specializing in advanced obstetric ultrasound. Working collaboratively with physicians, genetic counselors, and care teams, they perform detailed fetal and maternal imaging to support high-risk pregnancy management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced ultrasound exams and specialized studies such as fetal echocardiography and Doppler assessments.
• Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures.
• Ensure accurate documentation of imaging findings.
• Recognize abnormal findings and maintain patient safety.
• Provide compassionate care and education to patients.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize maternal and fetal outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program.
• ARDMS or ARRT certification.
• BLS certification.

Skills

• Proficiency in fetal anatomy scanning and Doppler assessments.
• Strong clinical judgment.
