Sonographer - Maternal Fetal Medicine

About the role

We seek a skilled Maternal‑Fetal Medicine (MFM) Sonographer to support high‑acuity obstetric imaging across multiple hospital locations. The role involves performing advanced ultrasound exams, ensuring accurate imaging, documentation, and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality MFM ultrasound exams following established protocols.
• Ensure precise imaging, thorough documentation, and timely transfer to PACS.
• Participate in training and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• ARDMS registration in OB/GYN or Fetal Echo.
• Ability to independently conduct complex exams with advanced technology expertise.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred: 3+ years OB experience, including 1+ year in MFM.
• Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish (optional).

Skills & Physical Requirements

• Advanced ultrasound techniques, strong attention to detail, and patient‑centered communication.
• Manual dexterity and ability to lift and move heavy items, navigate busy environments, and assist with patient transport.
• Ability to see, read, hear, and respond quickly, especially during emergencies.
