About the role
Seeking a full-time Sonographer with at least two ARDMS or CCI registries in Abdomen, OB/GYN, Breast, Echo, or Vascular.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures to produce high-quality images for interpretation.
- Set up and adjust equipment, maneuver transducers, and ensure safety standards.
- Recognize structures, artifacts, and pathology while maintaining equipment functionality.
- Submit images promptly to PACS, maintain departmental cleanliness, and adhere to regulatory standards.
- Assist in various imaging procedures and maintain a safe, alert work environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Completion of a Sonography program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, reach, and perform repetitive movements.
- Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and ability to recognize abnormalities.
Certifications Required
- ARDMS or CCI registries in relevant specialties (e.g., Abdomen, OB/GYN, Breast, Vascular, Fetal Echocardiography, Musculoskeletal, or Cardiac Sonography).
- Additional certifications may be beneficial depending on department needs.
